The name "Pistol" was born out of a brainstorming session where we aimed to create a brand identity that would stand out, particularly in the fast-paced environment of X (formerly Twitter). The idea of a porcelain gun initially surfaced—something delicate yet impactful. We evolved this concept into the word "Pistol," which felt playful and less aggressive. Interestingly, "pistol" is a term that resonates globally, from "pistola" in Spanish to ピストル in Japanese. Our intent was to reimagine and transform the connotation of a typically negative word into something positive and empowering, a theme that underpins much of the project.
